the TEFCU's organizational and democratic structure as contained in its the bye-laws. the supreme organ is the Annual General Meeting(AGM). it consists of all members and meets annually, receives reports from the Board and give direction to the operations of the organization. the Board of Directors(BOD) is the policy body.
it consists of 9 members (4 females and 5 males). it implements the decisions and resolutions of the AGM. it is responsible for recruitment and appraisal of staff. it also receives and approves budgets and work plans from management. it reports to the AGM.
management consists of a secretariat headed by the Secretary manager(SM). senior management consists of the Production Coordinator(PC), Marketing Coordinator(MC) and the Finance and Administration Officer(FAO). Field level activities are carried out by 12 Extension Workers(EWs) while the FAO is assisted by an Assistant FAO and Finance Assistant. the support staff include; Administrative Assistant and an Office Attendant. management is responsible for the day-to-day running of the organization. they implement BOD decisions and are responsible for developing programme/project, work plans, budgets and implementation of programmes. management reports to the Board.
